Meaning ‘adventurous’ in Welsh, Anturus is about enthusing children and adults alike in science through expeditions.
ExpeditionEtna was the first of Anturus’s expeditions and involved a 2000-mile round trip to Sicily to create engaging science videos from the slopes of Mount Etna, one of the most active volcanos in the world.
Over the course of two weeks, a team of four presenters created over 40 videos for use in the classroom, all paired with practical experiments and printable resources.
